Saturday was the best day of the trip. Christopher and the rest of us got to meet Jeff Gordon at the Speedway club. Jeff spent about 40 minutes with us hanging out, talking and answering questions. He brought Chris a huge giftbag of great things which he signed. Jeff is a very nice man. He made sure to speak with Dylan and Kyle and find out about them too. We learned that Jeff is a soccer fan. Even more reasons to be a JG fan! Chris presented Jeff with a framed scrapbook page of pictures of himself over the years as a JG fan. Chris also gave Jeff a card with his picture and wish coins. Jeff placed the card in the #24 car for the race. Of course with that bit of luck, Jeff was able to win for the first time at Texas Motorspeedway and his first win since Fall of 2007.
